Various forms of training and activities exercise memory. Experience and inspiration are from our Creator who designed and equips each of us uniquely for works which serve His purposes. My visionary heart and soul have been prepared to processes words and concepts into helpful works that remind myself and others of God’s promises. I’m thankful for opportunities to practice skills, meditate on, and create visual ways of seeing Truth. I enjoy illustrating with mixed media by simply applying crayons upon textures, scraps of scratch paper and snippets of devotional pages. Small playing-card-size abstract artworks are one way I intentionally share my hope and give God glory! To me, they’re 

• thought provoking
• relaxing
• fun made individually or in collaboration 
• convenient to collect 
• meaningful to give or trade
• conversation pieces

A brilliant sense of freedom comes in being maintained and guided to confess Truth and trust promises.  

The Bible explains vivid details regarding the corruption of humanity and the curse upon our environment as the result of sin which leads to temporal ills, confusion, pain and death. The Word is all we need to know God as love, plus God as judge. Since he made us, we’re part of His big picture. Consequences of our sin remain part of the story in this life, yet the curse has been removed by Christ for eternity. Thank God there’s certain hope for everyone!

Out of love, God the Father sacrificed His only Son for our redemption. 

Because of our Savior’s perfect work for us, by the faith received, undeserving people may take hold of mercy. Empowered with grace to repent, we may receive forgiveness, joy, gratitude and motivation to gently spread seeds that point others to the Spirit of comfort and hope!

Jesus the Word brings light to live through Him as a new creature.

In the water of baptism, the Holy Spirit provides the faith we need. Christ’s presence at the Lord’s Supper gives forgiveness, life, and salvation to those who have the faith. By grace, all who have hope will pray and hear the Word. Our “duty” is to rest and receive from Him.

Entrance to an everlasting renewed creation. 

Jesus desires us to have the Truth. There’s freedom to be saved from fear of death in light of focus on this physical reunion with Him. Clinging to Jesus (The Way/Truth/Life), we’re freed to love and reflect light. Death is only a sleep away until He rescues those who take refuge in Him from people who experience a fiery end on Resurrection Day. He determines how it will go for all people who will finally see Him as Lord and bow to Him, regardless of the fact they’d previously denied the faith.

We aren’t designed to be robots.

Our Creator allows us to think with the brain He gave us. He knows each heart and sees whether we seek His gifts, or not. Pray to pass every test of faith. Ask for guidance. Thank Him for power to resist temptation. Pray to release pride, the tendency to refuse authority. Beware of ignoring and rejecting Jesus’ Truth and Way of Life—so not to put oneself under His judgement and suffering with others walking toward hell.
