Happy Mother’s Day!
I’ve been missing Mom for over 12 years.
Just the other day, daughter Laura and I chatted on the phone about plants, what we’re making for dinner, and everything in between. I enjoyed chatting with Mom Ruth that way, too. I’m thankful the tradition of mother-daughter conversations across the miles continues.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 106:1

“…God helps a woman of faith become all He has called her to be. He
gives her faith to trust His Son for forgiveness for the times she
fails. God never runs out of work for the woman of faith, and He gives
her the strength to keep going. This is why a faithful woman is to be
praised: all she does points to Christ.
Lord, help me to live and walk in the insight of Your love for me in Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.” —Portals of Prayer 5.14.2023
